Cute!

Hair update...Okay I will post a picture of the front of my hair, but not today.

We got the words to put on the girls wall (Best friends are we, my sister and me). It was nerve wrecking. If you have ever done this you know. I was holding my breath and I could barely watch Chris. I think they look so cute. The room looks complete now.

Bad Hair Day

Okay I am finally willing to post these pictures. Last Sunday I had a bad hair day and since Chris was at work and the girls were asleep...
I cut it all off.
I did a pretty good job. I have always liked having short hair so it's not so bad and hair grows back.

I scream, you scream, we all LOVE Ice Cream!

Can you guess what we had for FHE treat? Yep that's right Dark Chocolate Ice Cream. Brooklyn really enjoyed it!

We are a happy family!

Small little things get me so excited. Yesterday was a big day for our family. Hailey started laughing. It is the cutest sound you have ever heard! She is a sweet girl. She is also trying so hard to roll over. The day is coming soon. I will let you know. Brooklyn's big news is that she wore a bow in her hair all the way through church. Not even a single complaint. Oh yeah and she has kept her earings in since Saturday night. Oh if you don't know she can pull out every kind of earing and we have lost multiple pairs. One last item that has made Brooklyn so happy is our new swing set. She swings and sings, " swinging swinging all the day, swing swing swing." She loves it thanks Mom and Dad!

Greatest Website Ever

I found this web site today after reading my book, "You on a Diet." It has everything you need to create a week of healthy meals for your family. It gives you a grocery list, recipes, and health information. Check it out. It made my day at the grocery store so easy and then you don't even have to think about what's for dinner! Oh yeah and the best part...IT'S FREE!

http://www.realage.com//ct/shape-up-slim-down/you-on-a-diet/

Once you go to this site click on number 2. Clean out the fridge and menu planner, then you just have to sign in and you are all set to decide what to eat for the week. Once you decide print off all the options for menus and grocery list. You are all set.

FHE

Last night we had some of Chris' family over for dinner and family home evening. It was fun to see Brent and Seval while they were in town (Seval is pregnant and she looks great!). All of the kids had fun playing and eating pizza. We had a fun lesson on how to have a more Nephi like attitude. While I was baring my testimony at the end I started to cry. Brooklyn came over saying "don't cry, don't cry". She crawled on my lap very worried about me.
I love being a mom and having such a great family.

Best Yet

Most of you know I am not a fan of Valentine's Day. It seems like nothing ever goes the way it is supposed to and we have also had very sad things happen on this day of love. In 2003 we buried my Great Grandfather on Valentine's Day. This year has been the best yet.

Chris and Blake put up our new celing fan and after that...Chris and I enjoyed a couples massage and bath while Grandma had the girls. It was so wonderful! We got to see three Grandmas. That is the way Brooklyn would describe her ideal day. Thank you dear for spending a wonderful day with your girls I love having you as my Valentine! (sorry no pictures of the massage it was a surprise and I didn't have my camera.)

Tahoe Baby

Christopher and I had a great trip. We spent the night at my sister's house and were able to spend a little time with them. Her boys are getting so big and so dang cute! Thanks for letting us stay and have breakfast with you.

We headed up to Lake Tahoe to have lunch and rent equipment. Finally we made it to Homewood where we spent the day on the slopes. We had alot of fun. Chris did really well and was so nice to stay with me while I got back into the hang of things since it had been a few years. The next day was much better and I even attempted to go off the jumps. Yeah that was a mistake. We finished up our day and headed back to Reno to have dinner at Archies!!! It was delicious. Natalie and the boys met us. After dinner we were off to the airport to fly back home to our girls. Our flight was a few mins. late because a woman had to be kicked off for being drunk and yelling at some guy on the flight. She was pretty funny. We made it home safely to find our keys locked in our car, but Chris took care of that in a jiff. Lori and Blake took great care of our kids and we were happy to see them. Blake thanks for fixing our car.

Fly Away

Today Chris and I flew to Reno to go snowboarding for a few days. We left the girls at home with Grandma Burr. Yes I did cry when we got to the airport. I love my gils so much. I spend everyday with them for crying out loud. Chris and I were having fun taking pictures of each other. Here are just a few pictures. Doesn't Chris look happy to be alone with his sweet wife? More to come from our vacation!

Celebrate Being Women

Yesterday my mom took Brooklyn into sacrament meeting with her because she dislikes nusery. Thank you mom! I haven't been able to enjoy relief society for a long time. It felt so good to just sit and feel the spirit so strong and to know that as a women I am important and needed in this life. Some time the small acts of a sweet grandma make all the difference in the world!

Picture Perfect

My wonderful husband made these beautiful frames to hang in the girls room. I think they look great. You did a good job Chris!

Dinner Party

Last night we had a few of our friends over for a dinner party. It turned out to be a really nice night. Chis and I spent alot of time getting ready for everyone to come over. Chris also made a few phone calls to his mom just to make sure we were cooking the 25 lb turkey right.
He was in charge of taking out the insides of the turkey. We tried to get Brooklyn to touch the turkey, but there was no way she was getting close to that thing.
Dinner was great and the company was wonderful. After our meal we found the men in the kitchen busily washing dishes and cleaning up. Thanks men.
