PAINFULLY Exciting News

Hailey has some good news to share! She has a tooth! Our little baby is growing so fast. Her tooth just came out of nowhere...well it came out of her gums, but it just popped up fast. It isn't all the way through yet and she is kinda sad. It must be a painful thing to get teeth.

DIVA

Anyone who has ever been in the presence of my sweet daughter knows her favorite phrase is "I do it." Now she wants to dress her self...one red sock, one pink with orange beads sock, shorts and a sweater. Heck why not a small floral hat. She is quite cute and always so exited that she did it. We love our little Brooklyn!

Picture Time

I may not have a working camera anymore, but I know people who do!
Brooklyn and her dad took their first swim of the year. We have had such nice weather.

We also had our friends and family out to the park for an Easter egg hunt and BBQ. The kids had a great time and it was so nice to enjoy the outdoors!
This morning we woke up at Grandma's house. (After the park last night we decided instead of driving home we would take advantage of their spa. So we put the girls down and slept over!) There were Easter eggs everywhere this morning and Brooklyn kept telling everyone "He came, he came!" She was so happy. I know she was talking about the Easter Bunny, but I thought about our Savior coming back to the people after being dead and how they must have felt to see their Savior again. He came and I know it!
She collected her eggs quickly. She even helped fill up Andrew's basket. What a wonderful way to start this beautiful Easter morning.

Ice Cream With Cat

Oh did I leave out the best part of our whole trip? What was I thinking... Enjoying Cold Stone with Caitlyn Cox. We had a great time. Yes she was late to her dance class because of our visit, but I am so happy I got to see her. She honestly has the best eye for fashion so I am trying to get her down to Vegas to go shopping! I have high hopes!

Traveling Tales

The Burr family has returned from a great trip up to Provo. My camera is officially broken and is in need of being fixed. So let me just tell you about our trip. The girls were wonderful in the car. We didn't have to stop until Nephi. Brooklyn was complaining about hunger so we stopped to eat at JC Mikelson's and we got to see Rachael! It was so good to see her. The last time we had seen each other was the day I moved back to Vegas. We enjoyed a week at Grandma and Papa's house. Brooklyn woke up every morning and watched a movie followed by some candy and homemade breakfast from Grandma. She loved their kitty and was surprisingly kind to it. We stayed up way too late every night playing card games, but enjoying every min. Our trip was full of visiting with friends and packing in as much time with Auntie Melanie. Chris and I attempted to go to the temple but on Mondays it closes at 10:00 am and we got there at 1:00. Oops! On our way back we saw more family and even got to visit the Humanitarian Aid Center where Grandma and Grandpa Burr are serving their mission. It was so cool, I really enjoyed it. How blessed we are to have family close.

Play Time

Yesterday was a lot of fun. Chris and I took the kids to the park. Brooklyn kept telling us how great it was. We took Dodge and I attracted all kinds of kids. Hailey got to swing for the first time and she really enjoyed herself. I hope to make going to the park a daily thing, if the weather would stay nice two days in a row. Gotta be thankful for what I can get huh!?
