TAI PAN Baby!

Alright the goods have been hung up, by that amazing man I call my husband! Take a look
(This is in our bedroom. It says Blessed)(Above our stairs we have these huge cut outs. We were so happy to find something to go in them instead of giant pictures of our brother and sister...)
Happy 4th of July. One of my favorite holidays. Brooklyn enjoyed helping me make these. I got the idea from another blog.

Stayed in Provo

So the girls and I stayed in Provo with Christopher's Aunt Debbie and her family. It was great to be there and Brooklyn was pampered the entire time. Debbie and I took the kids to the zoo, Melanie drove down to meet up with us.It did take us two tries to get there. We missed the exit and were headed for Park City. Brooklyn loved all the animals and I thought it was so neat.Adam was a good sport heck look at how much fun he had!Okay so are you imagining with me Brooklyn trying to climb into the giraffe habitat. Oh because she did try, don't ever doubt her. After our hot day at the zoo we stopped by IKEA. Okay this was my first time and I was so impressed. After our shopping I went with Melanie to get some gas in her car and Debbie said, " you get the kids in and I will take care of everything else and meet you at the gas station." Once we met up at the gas station we were off. We were almost home when Brooklyn asked for some candy...I knew the candy was in the diaper bag, but where was the diaper bag? Oh don't worry it was still in the parking lot of IKEA. Debbie made sure she had all the kids and she took off.We were busting up the whole way back to IKEA and when we got there the cart was still sitting in the parking lot with everything still in it.I've never laughed so hard. This summer we have made lots of lasting memories and we are only 1/3 of the way done!

Summer Time

Wow this summer is flying by. These last couple of weeks we have really enjoyed ourselves and have been able to see alot of family! Scott started it off with graduating from high school. My sister and her family came down and we all stayed at the Mandalay Bay. The swimming was great and the hotel was amazing. Thanks mom and dad. We enjoyed the rest of the week with our cousins. WE swam and celebrated and had the best Italian lunch. If you ever get a chance to eat at Maggiano's, do it! Just don't eat too much. Natalie almost lost her life! For the weekend we traveled up to Utah for a family reunion. Chris and I were able to go early and have some time with his grandparents. Brooklyn loved being spoiled by them and continues to brag that her grandpa has a "big school bus" - motor home! Grandma showed Brooklyn all of the wonderful things she had in her garden and Brooks would run from one to the next looking at all of them.Saturday we spent with my dads family and it was so great to see all of them. My cousin sang a love song for my grandparents and it was beautiful. We swam, ate, and celebrated their birthday. While in St. George my trip would not have been complete without a stop to Tai Pan Trading. Oh man it's like heaven. My sweet friend Lindsay must want me to go broke. I could spend alot of money in that store. Sunday it was time to say farewell to our dad. He got our car all ready and sent us on our way up to Provo. We sent him home on the shuttle to work. Chris had an Aunt pass away and I represented the family at the funeral. Once we made it up there I decided I wasn't ready to drive back so I stayed. More to come...

P-A-R-T-Y

Some of you know (Chana) that we love birthdays at our house! Brooklyn had some friends and the family over for a birthday party. She was in heaven. All of the kids got to decorate their own cupcakes and choose whatever color sprinkles they wanted.
They had a good time and it wasn't even very messy! Brooklyn got amazing gifts she was so spoiled, her friends were so kind! She did get a bike! Grandpa took her out back to start teaching her how to ride it.
Oh and now the princess has a real Cinderella dress, earings, a crown, and a wig! She was cracking me up she would hold her dress out in front of her so she wouldn't trip.
We even played pin Cinderella in the castle. The kids were so funny. When the other kids would have the blindfold on they would help lead the child to the right spot so that they would get the closest.
Hailey was loving every second of it and taking it all in so she will be ready to party when it comes time!

Birthday Blast!

Brooklyn knew today was her day. Heck she got to eat ice cream for breakfast, along with her Cheerios. Dad was at work today and that was really sad, but Grandma Lori came and took Brooklyn out on a date. They went and played in the water features at the park and then Hailey and I met up with them at Mc Donald's. After nap time our friends came over for dinner and a party. We had some delicious cake! What a fun day! Thank you for all the phone calls Brooklyn feels very loved and so happy!
Happy Birthday sister! I love you!

Concrete Baby

The boys hard at work. We had to keep alot of water on the concrete so we didn't get too many cracks. It's in and I couldn't be happier! It looks great more pictures to come as we continue to work on it!These are the best pictures I could take. There is alot more concrete, but there isn't a whole lot of room to stand in our backyard to get a good shot of it.

IT'S TERRIBLE...SHE'S 2!

Brooklyn Burr was born into our family on June 3, 2006! She is now two years old. I can't believe it has been two years since that beautiful little baby came into this world and into our family. We love her for her energy, happiness and kind heart. She can do some pretty amazing tricks and is more flexible than anyone you or I know. Happy Birthday sweetheart!
